Mark Ronson to release soundtrack for new Johnny Depp film
‘Mortdecai’ soundtrack is set to come out the same day as ‘Uptown Special’.
Next Monday, Mark Ronson’s hyped-to-the-heavens ‘Uptown Special’ album gets its official release. Not only that - Ronson’s also bringing out a soundtrack for Johnny Depp film ‘Mortdecai’ on the same day.
With Miles Kane featuring on vocals for opening track ‘Johanna’, the release sees Ronson and Geoff Zanelli collaborating on eighteen tracks. Rose Elinor Dougall is also confirmed to appear on a track titled ‘Heart’s a Liar’, as NME reports.
‘Mortdecai’ also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Goldblum and Ewan McGregor. Out 30th January, it sees Depp starring as art dealer Charlie Mortdecai.
‘Uptown Special’ - Ronson’s new solo album - is released on 19th January, with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker and the legend Stevie Wonder set to feature.
