Marmozets share ‘Play’ with moody new video

It’s the band’s first new material in three years.

After having announced details of an October tour last week, Yorkshire noiseniks Marmozets have unveiled their first new material in three years.

‘Play’ is the track’s name, and it comes with a suitably moody performance-based video (including rain. Because why not?!).

“It’s a real statement of intent – Marmozets are back!”, says vocalist Becca Macintyre in a statement. “Play’ set the marker for the standard of song that we wanted to write this time around, and everything clicked into place after we wrote it,” adds guitarist Jack Bottomley.

Listen to ‘Play’ below.

The band play Reading & Leeds festival next weekend, before a string of tour dates in October.
