MØ speaks about her desire to work with Grimes and Tyler, The Creator
Karen Marie Ørsted talks collaborations and new music.
MØ performed at New York’s Governors Ball Festival this past weekend, and during her time in the US, the Danish singer stated a list of musicians and artists that she hopes to work with in the future.
During an interview with Billboard, Karen Marie Ørsted stated that she wants to work with Grimes, Tyler, The Creator and Cashmere Cat, saying, “there’s so many great artists out there that I’d love to work with..I would really like to work with Grimes, because she’s just so badass that I want to die. Cashmere Cat [Norwegian producer], Tyler The Creator, there’s many [others].”
MØ also went on to discuss how she composes new material, detailing the process that she currently uses for the follow-up of her debut album ‘No Mythologies to Follow’. “The songs I write are about how I feel and the vibe I’m in,” she said. “So whether I’m on a tour or at home it’s like all about how you feel in the certain time you sit down. Sometimes I like to write the lyrics while I’m on the road, because then you get even more melancholy… you get very inspired on tour.”
