MØ was joined by Sporty Spice for her Spice Girls cover this weekend
Mel C took to the stage in London to jump aboard a cover of ‘Say You’ll Be There’.
MØ’s never shied away from praising those who’ve influenced her. Over the weekend, though, one of her biggest influences paid the favour back, with Spice Girls’ Mel C taking to the stage at MØ’s London headliner to join the ‘Lean On’ star in a run-through of ‘Say You’ll Be There’.
The 1996 Spice Girls hit first got the MØ treatment way back in 2014, with it remaining a mainstay of her shows to this day. It’s never been performed like this, though, with Sporty Spice herself sharing vocal duties.
“She was inspired by the Spice Girls as a kid now she inspires me,” Me C wrote after the performance in an Instagram post. Fair to say MØ’s probably pretty happy with that one. Watch the performance back below.
