MØ writes handwritten note apologising for SNL performance with Iggy Azalea
Technical issues plagued the Danish star’s SNL debut.
Last weekend, Danish star MØ made her television debut on the biggest stage going: Saturday Night Live. She arrived to perform alongside Iggy Azalea on their new track ‘Beg For It’, which emerged late last week.
The performance itself was plagued with technical issues - Karen Marie Ørsted had issues hearing the track in time, and her vocals appeared to be a couple of beats off compared to Azalea and her band.
Following the performance, MØ issued a handwritten note to fans addressing the issues she faced on stage.
Saying “sometimes it sucks to be an anti-hero”, she admitted that “unfortunately I had some technical issues which caused latency on my vocals, and as a result I got confused and my timing was off.
“It pains me and I’m SO sad today. But life goes on,” she says.
