Muse debut ‘Mercy’ video
Watch the first non lyric-filled video from ‘Drones’.
Muse fully realise their sci-fi obsessions with a big-budget video for ‘Mercy’.
The first song from ‘Drones’ to get a non-lyric clip - the likes of which were pouring out from all sides before the album arrived - it brings together spaceship narrative with shots of Matt Bellamy and co. switching the clocks and playing inside a giant warehouse.
Sing J Lee - who wanted to satirise contemporary society, ‘Black Mirror’-style - directs a heavily-conceptualised clip that’s set some several decades in the future, bringing to life a clone-filled universe.
Muse’s ‘Drones’ is out now. Watch the new video below.
Muse will play Bilbao BBK Live, where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
