Mysteries preview debut album with ‘Authenticity Machine’
Masked trio’s ‘New Age Music Is Here’ is out this October.

Still sporting masks, still keeping clues close to their chest, Mysteries are doing the whole ‘let the music speak for itself’ thing, but they’re allowed to because everything they’re released so far lives up to the vague billing.
‘Authenticity Machine’ is the latest track to emerged from their debut album ‘New Age Music Is Here’. With previous songs basking in more industrial tones and propulsive rhythms, this is a slinky, hot-under-the-collar number more likely to waltz into a bar than dive into a club.
We’re still no closer to finding out who Mysteries actually are, although they recently uploaded a picture of Wild Beasts (taken by DIY’s own Emma Swann) to their Facebook, scribbling out every face with the exception of frontman Hayden Thorpe. Maybe that’s just because he’s a handsome devil though - who knows…
‘New Age Music Is Here’ comes out 27th October on Felte. Pre-order here.
