Looks like the new Fleet Foxes album is called ‘Crack-Up’
Robin Pecknold might’ve let the secret slip on Instagram.

With Fleet Foxes finally back on the scene and that new album confirmed as on its way, frontman Robin Pecknold might’ve just let slip its title.
According to Reddit, the location of one of Robin’s latest Instagram posts was ‘Crack-Up Comedy Night’. one particularly keen commenter then took a punt, claming that that was the title of Fleet Foxes’ incoming new album. Robin said he was close, leading a few other commenters to opt for ‘Crack-Up’ - a titled that Robin then confirmed, before going on to state that F. Scott Fitzgerald’s ‘The Crack-Up’ essay was a primary influence on the choice. “f scott fitzgerald essay / arrangement and editing approach / school initials” he stated, somewhat nonsensically.
Here’s the post in question - Robin’s original comments have been deleted, but his explanation remains.
In addition, Robin’s been getting a little font happy recently, sharing this extra clue a few weeks ago.
No word on when that new Fleet Foxes record will emerge - while you wait, catch up on what they’ve all been up to on their five year break.
