New Lana Del Rey songs surface
‘Big Eyes’ and ‘I Can Fly’ are taken from forthcoming Tim Burton film.
‘Big Eyes’ and ‘I Can Fly’, the two Lana Del Rey-penned songs that are set to feature within Tim Burton’s latest film ‘Big Eyes’, have surfaced online.
As is to be expected, both subscribe to the ‘Born To Die’ singer’s customary melancholy. The title track, a mixture of wounded vocals and woman-wronged lyrics, manages to nail most of these gloomy trademarks across a breathless five minutes. Whilst the latter, which will accompany the film’s end credits, is a little more upbeat, with a fired-up Del Rey proclaiming “I wasn’t crazy, I was divine” over a soaring backdrop of delicate strings.
Earlier this week, Lana announced a joint tour with Courtney Love which will take place next May across North America on the following dates:
MAY
07 The Woodlands, TX, Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion
09 Dallas, TX, Gexa Energy Pavilion
12 Morrison, CO, Red Rocks Amphitheatre

16 Chula Vista, CA, Sleep Train Amphitheater
18 Los Angeles, CA, Hollywood Bowl
20 Mountain View, CA, Shoreline Amphitheatre

‘Big Eyes’ is set to released in US cinemas on Christmas Day, 25th December.
