Big announcement
Nia Archives launches new label Up Ya Archives and drops single ‘Get Loose’
The new track features Bristol newcomer Cheetah.

Nia Archives has announced the launch of her brand new record label, Up Ya Archives, alongside a new single ‘Get Loose’. The new label will be home to “everything new gen junglism”.
New single, ‘Get Loose’, has been released with Bristol newcomer, Cheetah, and the track features heavy basslines and vocals from the pair. According to a press release, Archives first discovered Cheetah’s music on Bandcamp and the pair were soon working together in the studio - brought together by their love of free parties, hence the strobey rave on the new music video.
“It’s essentially an ode to the soundsystem and party culture,” says Cheetah on the new single. “It’s about that feeling of being completely one on one with the music, head buried into the rig and feeling the bass rattle your ribs. It’s all pretty simple but super energetic, the lyrics are literally an instruction,” he added.
Alongside the launch of the new label and single, Archives will also have a residency on NTS radio, beginning this Friday 25th April, from 5-6pm every month. The first episode will feature her and single-mate Cheetah, talking listeners through the new show and concept for the label.
