Nia Archives shares new single ‘Off Wiv Ya Headz’
The track is a rework of the A-Trak version of ‘Heads Will Roll’.
Nia Archives has returned with a brand new track for the summer, ‘Off Wiv Ya Headz’. Watch the video, directed and edited by the artist herself, below.
The song is a junglist rework of the A-Trak remix of Yeah Yeah Yeah’s ‘Heads Will Roll’. Nia Archives premiered the mix at her Warehouse Project gig in Manchester last autumn.
It is her first solo single since her EP ‘Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against Tha Wall’, which came out in March this year, although that EP did also get its own set of remixes, with contributions from Maverick Sabre, Breakage, Mall Grab and others.
Speaking about the new track, Nia has said, “I wanted to make a spooky edit for Warehouse Project last Halloween and this is what I came up. I love the a-trak remix and I just wanted a jungle version of it.”
Nia has picked up a MOBO Award for Best Electronic/Dance Act, and was the support act for Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour date in London recently.
She will play a variety of festivals this summer, including Glastonbury, Parklife, Lowlands, All Points East and Lost Village.
