Nieve Ella counts her blessings in new single ‘Lucky Girl’
It’s our first taste of what to expect from her more rock-leaning next chapter.

Breakthrough pop-rock riser and DIY Class of 2025 member Nieve Ella has returned with ‘Lucky Girl’, her first single via her new label home of Artist Theory.
It comes in the wake of ‘Good Grace’, a standalone track which landed over summer, and marks the start of a darker, more mature chapter for Nieve following her 2024 EP ‘Watch It Ache And Bleed’.
Swapping buoyant pop for rougher, guitar-led edges, ‘Lucky Girl’ sees Nieve caught in the emotional crosshairs of newfound independence and the sometime loneliness of adulthood.
“I was feeling an overwhelming sense of empowerment and gratitude for the place I was in,” she has said, speaking about its conception. “But also conflicted by feelings of loneliness and confusion from my new surroundings.Writing this song was a way of taking back control of my life and relationships - almost as an affirmation for my next chapter; I am a lucky girl, and I get what I want.”
