Pop-punk outfit No Doubt have been tantilising their fans since January this year with tweets and pictures which seem to suggest a possible reunion and new album.
Gwen back in the studio with us.Nothing like having the four of us in the same room making music.Let’s do this! - Tony

No official conformation left the rumour mill in overdrive, but late week the band posted an announcement on Youtube. The video left fan’s reunion hopes in no doubt - and confirmed an album release later this year, eventually giving a date of 25th September 2012, after Gwen Stefani initially announced the wrong day.
Another slip of the tongue meant drummer Adrian Young somehow announced that the album would be out in the year 2000 - perhaps an understandable error given that the 4-piece’s last effort, the double-platinum album ‘Rocksteady’ was released in 2001. Aside from a solo stint by singer Gwen Stefani, and the band’s 2003’s cover of ‘It’s My Life’ this is the first music to come from No Doubt for 11 years.
Little has been revealed about the forthcoming album other than a release date, but No Doubt are rumoured to have been working with Major Lazer’s Diplo and Switch, as well as Mark ‘Spike’ Stent, the producer behind the first Spice Girls album.
