No Joy Reveal New Album, ‘Wait To Pleasure’

The Montreal noise-pop types will return this April via Mexican Summer.

No Joy are to return this spring with a new album.

‘Wait To Pleasure’, the Montreal noise-pop act’s second full-length album, after their 2010 debut ‘Ghost Blonde’, and last year’s five-track ‘Negaverse’ EP, will be released on 22nd April via Mexican Summer.

It was recorded at the label’s Brooklyn studio, Gary’s Electric, over two weeks in 2012 with producer Jorge Elbrecht.

Of the record, the band’s Jasamine White-Gluz explains: “We play as if the audience isn’t there, and we wouldn’t care if there weren’t anyone in the room at all, other than our band. No matter what, we are making this music for ourselves.”

The tracklisting for ‘Wait To Pleasure’ is:

1. E
2. Hare Tarot Lies
3. Prodigy
4. Slug Night
5. Blue Neck Riviera
6. Lizard Kids
7. Lunar Phobia
