OFF! and Jack Black skydive and take on bears in ‘Over Our Heads’
To celebrate their singer Keith Morris’ 59th birthday, the band decide to take on nature.
Imagine the scene: OFF!’s Keith Morris is celebrating his 59th birthday and his only wish is to go head-to-head with the elements in a skydive.
While the band’s drummer Mario Rubalcaba is too busy playing at another birthday party, Morris calls upon his bandmates to keep him company on the plane ride up there. What he doesn’t know is that bassist Steven McDonald has just dropped acid and is about to see their instructor - played by Jack Black, obviously - transform into God and send him to his bloody death.
Part one of a two-part video series, the band’s clip for ‘Over Our Heads’ shows them to be exactly that: while guitarist Dimitri Coats ends up breaking his leg and being attacked by a bear, we’re left with just our frontman and Jack Black, with another whole video to decide their fate.
The video itself was directed by Jimmy Hayward, with the concept being based upon a story by Dimitri Coats and David Dreyer.
Watch the clip for ‘Over Our Heads’ below, and keep your eyes peeled for the second video, ‘Meet Your God’ (that doesn’t sound too hopeful, does it?) to land next week.
Both tracks come from OFF!’s most recent album ‘Wasted Years’, which was released early this year.
