Opus Kink share title track from forthcoming new album ‘The Sweet Goodbye’
The track gets lifted from their debut LP, which is due out at the end of July.

Experimental sextet Opus Kink are back with their newest single, and this time, it’s the title track of their forthcoming debut album.
‘The Sweet Goodbye’ marks the fourth preview of their long-awaited first full-length - which is due out on 31st August via SO Recordings - and follows on from previously-released tracks ‘I’m A Pretty Showboy’, ‘Come Over, Do Me Wrong’ and most recently, ‘The Head Tree’, which features an appearance from fellow Brightonians The New Eves.
Speaking of their latest offering, the band’s frontman Angus Rogers has said: “A man sings a lullaby to his love, his heart’s instrument, his medium of choice on the eve of their parting. Tomorrow they will bid one another goodbye but not before delivering a last message to the world that made them. The big man once said parting is such sweet sorrow… lift the pen, turn the peg, climb the clocktower, take aim, give everything.” Whatever you say, Angus…
Check out their groovily chaotic cut, ‘The Sweet Goodbye’, below.
