Opus Kink announce details of debut album ‘The Sweet Goodbye’
Alongside the news of their long-awaited first LP, they’ve shared its lead single ‘Come Over, Do Me Wrong’.

Brighton sextet Opus Kink have announced details of their long-awaited debut album, ‘The Sweet Goodbye’.
The band - who shared their swaggering single ‘I’m A Pretty Showboy’ last October - have now returned with plans to release their first full-length this summer, with the LP landing on 31st July via SO Recordings. Their record is set to be ten tracks in length, and comes formally introduced by their newest single - and the album’s opening cut - ‘Come Over, Do Me Wrong’.
“Half of any good thing is its proximity to its end; half of any good thing is the reason it cannot be yours,” the band’s frontman Angus Rogers says. “‘Come Over, Do Me Wrong’ is a song about the hallucinogenic qualities of a doomed love affair and its toxic allure, the mad philosophical leap of ‘I don’t care what you do as long as you do it to me.’” Check the single, and the album’s tracklisting, below.
