Pale Waves show buckets of potential at Reading 2017

The band opened up the BBC Introducing stage today at Little John’s Farm.

Pale Waves, Reading Festival, 2017

Today is Pale Waves’ first time at Reading Festival, but as a band who have played Madison Square Garden with only one single out in the world, they’re not lacking in confidence.

If that weren’t evidence enough that today’s early set on the BBC Introducing stage will be a triumph, they open with debut single and bonafide smash ‘There’s A Honey’.

Following it up with more sugary indie-pop and follow-up single ‘Television Romance’, the Manchester four-piece are on a meteoric rise.

Today’s early slot will surely be followed up by a bigger set next year, and there really are no limits on where Pale Waves can go from here.
