Perfect Pussy’s Meredith Graves features on latest Turned Out A Punk podcast

Meredith Graves of Perfect Pussy is the latest musician to feature in the Turned Out A Punk podcast series, hosted by Damian Abraham of Fucked Up.

In the fourth episode of the series, which runs for over an hour and a half, Graves talks about having “a punk for a dad” who built her cot whilst listening to Hüsker Dü, her experiences with sexism in music, and sneaking into shows as a 14 year-old.

Graves also reveals that she’s starting her own record label, the first release being from Sacramento band So Stressed.

In episode two of the series, Arcade Fire’s Jeremy Gara spoke of how the band gave up their day jobs mid-way through the tour for their debut album ‘Funeral’ and ceremoniously burned their paperwork in a car park.
