Peter Crouch tries his hand at crowdsurfing during Kasabian gig
Stoke striker gives “On yer’ head” a new angle.
Never one to shun the limelight, former England striker Peter Crouch was spotted being carried over the barriers at Kasabian’s Brixton Academy gig on Saturday.
Crouchy had spent the afternoon helping his side to a dramatic win over Arsenal, scoring in the first minute of the victory at Britannia Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent. But soon after the final whistle, he was heading southward to catch Kasabian on the final night of their 5-date Brixton residency.
It’s not the first time Crouch’s musical exploits have drawn attention of late either. In October he took to Twitter to applaud Future Islands’ performance on Jools Holland suggesting that Samuel T. Herring’s dance moves might yet serve as inspiration for one of his famous goal celebrations.
No sign of such a celebration as yet, but who knows what the future might hold if he keeps netting.
