Pinegrove have shared new live album ‘Elsewhere’

All proceeds from the record are going to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

After playing about a billion shows last year across the globe, New Jersey outfit Pinegrove have shared a brand new album on their Bandcamp page.

‘Elsewhere’ was recorded on the band’s tours with Kevin Devine, Petal and Julien Baker and mostly contains songs from their album ‘Cardinal’. It’s a pay-what-you-like download affair, but as a bit of an incentive to donate something, all the proceeds from the LP are going towards the Southern Poverty Law Center, who battle racial and social injustice.

In a statement alongside the release, Evan Stephens Hall said: “This release is intended as a thank you letter to everybody who supported us in any way. It was a challenging year, but so rewarding to meet so many wonderful people, & to learn a little more about what this good country is really like.”

He continued: This tour took us across the United States through the days leading up to the 2016 US election, Election Day, & the aftermath. We felt consequently that it’s an especially good time to do what we can to promote love & equality. As a small gesture of commitment to the cause, this album is available for free or donation, & all profits will be donated to the Southern Poverty Law Center.”
