Pity Sex unleash gloomy ‘What Might Soothe You?’ video
The track, taken from next year’s second album ‘White Hot Moon’, now has an occult-inspired accompanying clip

Pity Sex’s gloomy shoegaze returned late last month with new single ‘What Might Soothe You?’, which is today joined by an occult-inspired new video.
“I was pretty deep into religious symbolism and rituals when this came into the fold,” explains director Joel Rakowski. “I ended up figuring a pseudo-baptism and indoctrination into the ‘Cult of Pity Sex’ might work.” The video reflects Pity Sex’s stormy, shadowy fuzz perfectly, the band cloaked in darkness from the off as they undergo various occultish rituals.
Check out the video below, and catch up with Tom Walters’ chat with the band from earlier this year right here. Pre-order ‘What Might Soothe You?’ on limited, etched 7” here – Pity Sex’s second LP ‘White Hot Moon’ is set for a Spring 2016 release.
