Pixies Announce New Album ‘Indie Cindy’

The band have officially confirmed that they will follow up 1991’s ‘Trompe Le Monde’ with new full-length ‘Indie Cindy’.

Back in June last year

, Pixies made a big move by releasing their first new material in almost ten years. Now, having had a productive few months, whetting appetites with two EPs and playing shows across the world, they’re now all set to make another massive move: the release of their brand new album.

Recorded back in October 2012 after teaming back up with Gil Norton at Wales’ Rockfield Studios, the band have officially confirmed that they will follow up 1991’s ‘Trompe Le Monde’ with new full-length ‘Indie Cindy’. Set for release on 28th April, the album will be released through the band’s own label Pixiesmusic and includes the tracks from their recent offerings, ‘EP-1’, EP-2’ and just released ‘EP-3’.

To celebrate the release of their first album in over twenty years, the band will also be making a series of live appearances in the UK this summer, including their headline slot at this year’s Field Day. Their upcoming UK and European dates are as follows.
