Pixies Confirmed For Primavera Festival 2014
Newly-reformed group join Arcade Fire and Neutral Milk Hotel for the Barcelona leg.
Pixies
have been confirmed for both legs of Primavera 2014; Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Optimus Primavera Sound in Porto.
The newly-reformed group join Arcade Fire and Neutral Milk Hotel for the Barcelona leg, with the main batch of acts yet to be announced.
Also confirmed for the Sunday leg of Field Day 2014, Pixies have recently announced the departure of new bassist Kim Shattuck, after just three months of her being in the band.
Over the weekend, Shattuck posted on Facebook: ‘Super disappointed to learn that my time with the Pixies ended today. Amazing experience.’
Primavera Sound Barcelona will take place between 29th-31st May. Optimus Primavera Sound takes place on 5th-7th June.
