Police are investigating two deaths at T In The Park

Scottish police have confirmed that two people have died at T In The Park.

The festival, which takes place at Strathallan Castle this weekend, opened its doors to punters yesterday. This morning, Police Scotland confirmed the two deaths, and that they were treating them as separate and unexplained.

In addition, investigations are being held into a mass brawl that broke out near the gates of the festival just hours after opening. Footage of the fight has appeared online via Snapchat, with it supposedly having broke out under two hours after gates opening. “We have been made aware of the video and are making enquiries,” said a spokesman for Police Scotland.

The Stone Roses are set to headline T In The Park’s first day of music this evening.
