Come on football
Portishead and Radiohead members team up for charity football game
“Heads United” will feature Geoff Barrow and Philip Selway.
Members of Portishead and Radiohead are teaming up in a football team for a forthcoming charity tournament, taking place in Newbury on 25th April.
Both Portishead’s Geoff Barrow and Radiohead’s Philip Selway will be “kicking it in the goal” for a good cause - The Mary Hare Foundation, which represents a school for the deaf. Together, Selway and Barrow have done the right thing by calling their team “Heads United”.
The Football & Food Festival will host the tournament, and you can donate to the cause here.
Portishead headline Latitude Festival (16th-19th July), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
