Premiere: Les Savy Fav Release ATP Nightmare Before Christmas Mix
Nightmare Before Christmas co-curators Les Savy Fav have put together a mix, featuring the likes of No Age, Wild Flag and Surfer Blood.
A little while ago, Caribou gave the internet a present. It was this rather spiffy mix, in celebration of his forthcoming co-curation of ATP’s Nightmare Before Christmas event. It featured the likes of Toro Y Moi, Theo Parrish, Junior Boys, Connan Mockasin and Four Tet, and as such was a very good listen indeed.
This morning Les Savy Fav have followed suit, and you can give their special NBC mix a listen here on DIY before anywhere else. Hooray. It’s a similarly special collection, with contributions from Archers Of Loaf, No Age, Wild Flag and Surfer Blood, amongst others - plus an unreleased Oxes track from way back in 1999. The full tracklisting is below. Each of the bands will play the LSF-leg of the event.
The full tracklisting is as follows:
1. Les Savy Fav - The Sweat Descends
2. Archers Of Loaf - Lowest Part Is Free!
3. Future Islands - Balance
4. Hot Snakes - Light Up The Stars
5. Marnie Stern - The Crippled Jazzer
