Premiere: Listen: Bloody Knees Unveil New ‘Bones’ Track
Rory Attwell-recorded giant forms part of an Art Is Hard split with Birdskulls.
Last year Bloody Knees toured with Wolf Alice, released a debut EP, played Reading Festival’s Lock Up Stage and all in all bolstered their already ferocious, punch-packing delivery.
In 2014 they’re starting off with a new single on Art Is Hard, splitting duties between themselves and Birdskulls. Lead track ‘Bones’ is completely shielded from sticks and stones, as the saying goes, although chants of the weapons going ‘straight through my skin’ give off some of the band’s most vivid and gruesome imagery to date.
The new track links up with ‘Bed Tomb’, which also forms part of the new release. Both songs were recorded with Rory Attwell.
Bloody Knees’ split 7’ with Birdskulls (tracklist below the player) is out via Art Is Hard on 24th February in resplendent blue vinyl.
Tracklist:
1. Bloody Knees - Bones
2. Birdskulls - Alley Gorey
3. Birdskulls - Cycles
4. Bloody Knees - Bed Tomb
