Prince Plays Secret ‘Soundcheck’ Show At London’s Electric Ballroom

Last night London’s tube strike was ignored altogether by fans flocking to Camden’s Electric Ballroom to see Prince play live at what was a rumoured time of 3am.

The impromptu, ‘Soundcheck’ gig picked up whispers of its happening late on Tuesday 4th February. Prince’s manager Kiran Sharma initially broke the news, with Prince and his Third Eye Girl band eventually coming on stage around midnight for a ‘press only’ show, before stating ‘That was the soundcheck, come back tomorrow for more,’ according to NME.

Rumours are already circling that the same venue will host a second show tonight, on Wednesday 5th February.
