Prince streams new album ‘HITNRUN’ via TIDAL

The singer’s 35th album follows 2014’s ‘Plectrumelectrum’ and ‘Art Official Age’

Prince is streaming his 35th studio album ‘HITNRUN’ on TIDAL ahead of its CD release next week (15th September).

‘HITNRUN’ follows the tour of the same name, in which Prince played secret shows at London’s Electric Ballroom and KOKO last year, as well as a number of arena dates.

The 11-track album follows the two albums Prince released last year, ‘Plectrumelectrum’, the collaboration with his band 3RDEYEGIRL, and the solo LP ‘Art Official Age’.

The album is streaming exclusively on TIDAL, and Prince recently shared his views on streaming services, while at the same time comparing record deals to “slavery”. Speaking of Jay-Z’s work with TIDAL, he said “we have to show support for artists who are trying to own things for themselves.”

‘HITNRUN’ is available to stream via TIDAL here.
