Public Body unveil new single ‘Way, No Way’

The Brighton boys have released the third track from their upcoming album

Public Body have released a new track ‘Way, No Way’. It’s the third track to be unveiled from their upcoming debut album ‘Big Mess’, out 9th June via FatCat Records. The track, according to frontman Seb Gilmore, was inspired by Friends: “I wrote ‘Way, No Way’ when I was isolating with Covid for the first time,” he says. “I decided to rewatch Friends, and cringed out at how tragic the men are. Being stuck at home reminded me of when I was younger living in a rural area with no transport links. Back then I also stayed home and binge watched TV and as result of my lack of movement, got really fat. The song title is actually the name of Ross and Chandler’s high school band. I thought it was a killer name so robbed it” According to Gilmore, the album is also “self-deprecating which is a tad embarrassing because I should probably just sort my life out rather than write a 10-song album about it!” Catch Public Body at the following live dates: MAY 6 - Are You Listening? Festival, Reading 11th-13th - The Great Escape, Brighton JULY 13 –The Hope and Ruin, Brighton 14 –The George Tavern, London 15 – Forum Basement, Tunbridge Wells 20 – The Fly Tower, Sheffield 21 – Crofters Rights, Bristo
