NYC’s Public Practice announce debut EP ‘Distance Is A Mirror’ with the brilliantly danceable ‘Fate/Glory’
The band, who feature members of recently disbanded punks WALL, are today’s Neu Pick.
NYC’s Public Practice, who feature members of recently disbanded punks WALL (whose first (and only) LP we gave five stars in our review last year), have announced details of their debut EP, and its first track ‘Fate/Glory’ is our Neu Pick for today.
‘Fate/Glory’ is a wonderfully danceable slice of dance-punk, recalling Shopping and Gang of Four in its jaunty strut, a bopping bassline colliding gorgeously with discordant stabs of guitar.
The ‘Distance Is A Mirror’ EP will come out on 26th October via Wharf Cat Records. Pre-order it here.
Listen to ‘Fate/Glory’ below.
