Reading 2011: Pulled Apart By Horses: “New Album Is In The Bag”

Pulled Apart By Horses have revealed they’ve been making good progress with their second album, and it’s now ‘all written and in the bag.’

Speaking to DIY after their set at Reading Festival yesterday (Friday 26th August), frontman Tom said: ‘If we look like we don’t know what’s going on, it’s because we’ve come from a little cottage in the middle of Wales, straight to London to play with Deftones, and then straight to this. We haven’t even seen people. The only things we’ve seen for the past two weeks are sheep. Album number two is all written and in the bag, we’re just recording it now. It should be coming out very soon hopefully.

‘It sounds fucking massive. And that’s before it’s even finished and mixed. We’ve been pretty happy with it so far. I did a couple of vocal takes drunk and can’t remember what I did until the other day. I don’t know why I’m saying that but it sounded really good.’

‘It’s really exciting,’ guitarist James added. ‘The first album we raced to put it out and just recorded it in six or seven days. It was quite full on but this time we’ve had a bit more time to focus and think about it. I think it’s going to be amazing, I can’t wait.’
