It’s not long now until Pulled Apart By Horses reveal their third album, and to celebrate, they’re getting the drinks in. In honour of their forthcoming full-length, they’ve created their very own pale ale and given it the same name, offering fans their very own sip of the band’s ‘Blood’.

Having teamed up with the West Yorkshire Revolutions Brewery, their unique concoction is a blend of blood oranges and Yorkshire Tea (mmm) and will be available at specialist pubs across the UK for a limited time.

Speaking out about their latest foray into the alcoholic beverage world, their guitarist James Brown has said: “The idea of people drinking our ‘Blood’ (not literally) is so exciting for us! It’s the kind of thing you talk about a lot but never usually happens, so because this has become a reality we really want to celebrate it!”

The band will also be launching the new beer with their first ever acoustic show at The Brudenell Social Club in Leeds. Set to take place on 29th August, entry to the show is through a special competition only, with winners being chosen from fans who post a photo of their favourite drink to Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #PABHsBlood. The best photos will win a pair of tickets to come to the band’s launch, which is for over 18’s only.

Fancy a glimpse of what to expect? The band made their first fully stripped-back acoustic appearance during a visit to The Netherlands recently, and you can see a clip of them performing their previous album cut ‘V.E.N.O.M.’ below.
