Queens of the Stone Age join line-up for Pohoda Festival 2025

Pohoda Festival are on a roll: the Slovakian event has now confirmed that rock titans Queens of the Stone Age will be heading to the festival next summer, after the band were originally set to play this year but were forced to pull out.

They’ll be joining the likes of Fontaines DC, Iggy Pop, JPEGMAFIA, Blondshell and Bambie Thug, who have all already been confirmed to appear at next year’s edition of the festival. Its return in 2025 will take place at its usual location of Trenčín airport from 10th to 12th July and will follow on from this summer’s edition unfortunately being cancelled mid-way through its three day run due to damage to the site caused by a severe storm.

“Queens of the Stone Age are one of our team’s favourite rock bands. Personally, I consider their song ‘No One Knows’ one of the greatest rock songs of all time,” Festival Director Michal Kaščák has said, of the band. “I’m very happy that, after being unable to perform at Pohoda 2024, they’ll return at the next possible date. I believe their Saturday concert will be a true celebration for all Pohoda fans.”

More international artists are due to be confirmed later this week, so watch this space! In the meantime, you can find out more about Pohoda 2025 and nab tickets here, and revisit our July 2023 cover interview with Queens of the Stone Age below.
