Rachel Chinouriri shares enveloping new track ‘Riptide’, signs to Marathon Artists
There’s a new ‘Riri in town…
It may be a thoroughly grotty day outside, but don’t worry - South Londoner Rachel Chinouriri has got the antidote in the form of new single ‘Riptide’.
The latest offering to come from the 19-year-old, it’s a warm, enveloping hug of a track that follows last year’s early singles ‘What Have I Ever Done’ and ‘So My Darling’.
Rachel has also announced her signing to Marathon Artists - home of Courtney Barnett, POND and more, and was recently among the first raft of artists announced for this year’s Field Day festival.
We spoke to the young singer about Croydon, collaborations, Coldplay and some other things not beginning with ‘c’ for our Get To Know feature.
Read it here and listen to ‘Riptide’ below.
