Radiohead are playing tracks from 'The Bends' for the first time in six years

Radiohead’s ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ tour continues to trawl their extensive back catalogue - this time around, it’s tracks from ‘The Bends’ that are getting their first airings in years.

Holed up in Mexico City for a two night stint at Palacio de los Deportes, Thom Yorke and the lads treated each show to a different ‘The Bends’ classic. Night one got that second album’s title-track, while the second evening was treated to huge single ‘Fake Plastic Trees’. As it’s 2016, footage of both made its way online quicker than you can say “Siri, can you please upload this video of Radiohead playing tracks from their seminal second studio album ‘The Bends’ to YouTube?” Watch ‘em both below.

The extensive world tour in support of this year’s ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ LP has thrown up all sorts of treats - from ‘2+2=5’ to ‘Let Down”s first performance in a decade, via them actually playing bloody ‘Creep’ of all songs, it seems Radiohead aren’t afraid to get all nostalgic these days.
