Radiohead are back and they’re playing loads of festivals
Group have confirmed their first shows in nearly four years.
Radiohead season has begun. The band have confirmed their first shows in almost four years.Backing up Primavera, there’s a headline slot at Switzerland’s OpenAir St. Gallen.
The festival runs on 30th June - 3rd July, with Mumford & Sons, Two Door Cinema Club, Wolf Alice and Caribou also confirmed to play. They’ve also been confirmed for Portugal’s NOS Alive, running 7th-9th July for the fest’s 10th birthday. Also on the bill - Pixies, Foals, Courtney Barnett and The 1975.A new, ninth studio album is due for release in the first half of 2016. Fans are speculating that it could arrive at any moment, after the band registered a company (as they do prior to every new album), called ‘Dawn Chorus LLP’. Their last two records, ‘In Rainbows’ and ‘The King of Limbs’, have been surprise releases, announced days before coming out. On Christmas Day 2015, they shared their first new music since 2011’s ‘The Daily Mail’ / ’Staircase’ single, and the first from their LP9 sessions. Rejected Bond theme ‘Spectre’ isn’t Sam Smith’s cup of tea, but it’s streaming below. Full schedule so far:JUNE
