Reading 2014: Sunday Live Updates

Over the past two days, we’ve witnessed all manner of triumphs, from Paramore overcoming actual silence to Royal Blood putting their foot in the ‘future headliners’ door. Reading 2014’s offered an insight into where some of the best country’s bands are heading - Chvrches’ excitable synth-pop came close to hitting its peak and Wolf Alice’s affirmed debut proved they’re a R&L favourite in the making. Day three’s set to continue this run of form, and we’ll be bringing you all the action live from the site.

The closing day sees a headline performance from darlings of Reading & Leeds, Blink-182. They’re joined by You Me At Six, who play a giant Main Stage slot third from top. There’s also The Horrors, keen to prove that their colossal, psych-leaning new album ‘Luminous’ works in a festival environment. That question won’t be hanging over the heads of Disclosure, mind you - tonight they’re set close the NME/Radio 1 Stage in style. Also in the dance stakes, Aussie producer Flume makes his R&L debut as a bill-topper tonight. There’s also plenty to look forward to in Danny Brown, Young Guns, Sivu and the Pains of Being Pure at Heart. That’s not forgetting the hotly-anticipated return of Twin Shadow, a gnarly opening set from The Wytches, and the almighty Jungle.
