Robyn & La Bagatelle Magique share video for ‘Love is Free’

Robyn and her new project La Bagatelle Magique have shared the video for mini-album title track ‘Love Is Free’. Maluca - who also guests on the song - appears in the video. It’s directed by SSION, who has worked on videos with everyone from Perfume Genius to Kylie.

There’s a lot going on. There are hoover-based dance routines, mysterious plumbing issues, and one particular section showing Maluca neck deep in fake turf, surrounded by crochet balls a la the 1988 movie Heathers. Oh, and then Robyn and Maluca reenact Jack and Rose’s spinning around dance from Titanic. It’s exactly the kind of overblown, glitter-covered accompaniment you’d expect for such a gigantic dance track.
