Listen Róisín Murphy airs new track ‘Incapable’

The song comes ahead of her festival spots this summer.
Róisín Murphy has shared a new track ahead of her summer festival appearances.
‘Incapable’ was produced by long-time collaborator, DJ Parrot aka Crooked Man, and is released via Skint Records.
“Incapable was a little experiment in song-writing for me,” says Róisín. “I thought it might be fun to write from a point of view totally opposite to the usual heartbreak and despair. This diva is mildly concerned at her own lack of feeling and it’s beginning to dawn on her that there will be no love without pain,” she says of track. “When it came to the imagery, for some reason I wanted a huge perm. Perhaps in my mind, a character so untouched by the pain of heartbreak would also have huge mounds of luxurious hair?”.
Her live appearances are:
JUNE
23 Release Festival
29 Bosco Fresh Fest
JULY
20 Sommernacht
28 Stanton Calling
AUGUST
4 Dekmantel Festival
7 Lokerse Festeen
24 FEST Fest
