Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever share new track 'In The Capital’

Aussie quintet Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever have shared brand new music today, in the form of new track ‘In The Capital’.

The band, who released their debut album ‘Hope Downs’ back in June last year, have confirmed plans to release their new offering as a limited edition 7” single in April, alongside a second new track.

‘In The Capital’ / ‘Read My Mind’ will be released on 26th April via Sub Pop and is available to pre-order now.

Speaking of how the track came about, the band’s Fran Keaney has said: “I first had the idea for the melody and some of the lyrics when I was swimming. It’s taken a while to finish the song, to make it feel like the initial feeling. I can’t neatly describe it, but something like connection despite distance. I was thinking about transience and water and death and big cities and fishing towns and moon river.”

The band have also confirmed plans for a series of shows across the UK and Europe this summer. Their touring plans look like this:
