Rosie Lowe shares ‘Who’s That Girl’ video
London newcomer’s debut album is out this year on Paul Epworth’s Wolf Tone label.
London newcomer Rosie Lowe has unveiled ‘Who’s That Girl’, a brand new track lifted from a forthcoming debut LP on Paul Epworth’s Wolf Tone label, home to Glass Animals.
No details have been released about a full-length, but it’s anticipated for summer 2015, linking up with 2014 gems ‘How’d You Like It’ and ‘Water Came Down’.
In an accompanying video, Lowe stirs in the centre of a vast empty space, cloaked under a giant veil as she sings “actions speak louder than words.”
Speaking to Dazed, Lowe explained the song’s concept: “Who’s That Girl is about not recognising someone any more. It’s always in the times of struggle – when something bad happens – that the biggest lessons are learnt and you realise who your true friends are. Some people step up and some people step down. This song is about a friend that stepped down when I needed her most.”
