Rosie Lowe unveils new single, ‘Water Came Down’
Londoner is readying a debut album for early 2015.
London artist Rosie Lowe has unveiled new single ‘Water Came Down’, alongside a stunning new video.
Her new single follows on from her debut EP, ‘Right Thing’, which came out on 37 Adventures back in 2013.
Part of DIY’s Class of 2014, this is Lowe’s first new material in 2014, and it’s set to preview a forthcoming debut album, due out in early 2015. She’s just inked a deal with Paul Epworth’s label Wolf Tone (home of Glass Animals).
‘Water Came Down’ filters Lowe’s R&B influences into something more pure-pop than anything on her debut EP, but it’s loaded with subtleties too. A mix of light, fluttering keys and vocals that could command pretty much any scene of chaos, it’s slick and future-leaning, surpassing the material on her first EP.
Watch ‘Water Came Down’’s video below.
Rosie Lowe plays Manchester Cathedral on 1st November and London Concrete on 4th November (Tickets).
