Royel Otis confirm plans for second album ‘hickey’

It’s due to arrive just 18 months after their debut, ‘PRATTS & PAIN’.

Sydney-based pair Royel Otis have announced that their sophomore LP, entitled ‘hickey’, is due to hit shelves on 22nd August via OURNESS/Capitol/Island Records.

The much-anticipated follow-up to their 2024 debut ‘PRATTS & PAIN’, the record’s release will be preceded by a string of summer shows around Europe, the UK, and North America, where fans can expect to be treated to some sneak previews of what to expect from ‘hickey’ - including live renditions of the band’s latest single, ‘moody’.

Explaining the reasoning behind the album’s title, Royel Otis have simply said: “…because love bites harder than any other emotion in the world.”
