Twin Hype Back
Run the Jewels in studio with Nas and Rage Against The Machine’s Zack de la Rocha
Last month El-P and Killer Mike were also hanging out with Kendrick Lamar, for undisclosed - and possibly musical - reasons.
Run the Jewels have reunited with Zack de la Rocha in the studio. The Rage Against The Machine frontman previously collaborated with El-P and Killer Mike on ‘Close Your Eyes (And Count to Fuck)’ from ‘RTJ2’. Nas was also with the duo.
“This happened,” El-P said, captioning the photo. It’s not clear what exactly “this” is, but it seems likely that Run the Jewels are either working on their upcoming cat remix album ‘Meow The Jewels’, or potentially ‘Run the Jewels 3’. Nas might’ve just been popping in to say hello - he releases their music on his Mass Appeal Records - but he has appeared onstage with Run the Jewels in the past.
Last month Run the Jewels took another of their trademark selfies with Kendrick Lamar. It’s not clear if they are in the studio, or just hanging out, but a musical collaboration could be on the cards there too.
