Run The Jewels & Kelela to appear at Converse Rubber Tracks weekend

Converse will be putting on a weekend of live events across London from 4th to 6th December.

Run The Jewels and Kelela have been announced as the headliners of Converse’s upcoming weekend of live events with Converse Rubber Tracks.

The event, which is due to happen Friday 4th to Sunday 6th December, will be taking place in venues across London such as The 100 Club, Boiler Room, NTS, Domino Records, Rye Wax and Lex Records. The weekend will include an array of events: two Converse Rubber Tracks live shows, a daytime party (on a boat, no less) and a selection of workshops.

The two live shows - which will be hosted at The 100 Club - will not only host the likes of El-P and Killer Mike and Kelela, but will showcase acts who have entered into the Converse Rubber Tracks program that’s been happening across London this year.

“We’re excited to continue to grow the Converse Rubber Tracks platform in the UK with this upcoming program of events in partnership with legendary local music partners,” Jed Lewis, the Converse Global Music Marketing Director has said. “Through Converse Rubber Tracks, we’ve had the opportunity to work with local music communities in various boroughs in London since we first arrived in 2015. We hope to expand this even further with this three-day series, and look forward to reaching and inspiring a new pool of emerging artists throughout the country.”

To be in with a chance of getting tickets to the shows, fans can head to Converse’s website, where they can apply for free tickets.
