Run the Jewels share video for ‘Rubble Kings Theme (Dynamite)’
The video follows a clash between rival gangs in the South Bronx.
Run the Jewels have shared the video for their Adult Swim single ‘Rubble Kings Theme (Dynamite)’. The track came out in October, and appears on the soundtrack to new documentary ‘Rubble Kings’. The film looks at gang culture in the South Bronx in the ‘60s and ’70s.
The animated ‘Rubble Kings Theme (Dynamite)’ video follows a woman called ‘Little Nina’. She is violently assaulted by a rival gang while walking home, and with her gang, Rubble Kings of New York, she sets out to get justice. “This video was inspired by the Rubble Kings documentary and the works of the great Ralph Bakshi,” said the director, Shawn Nicholson, in a statement. He also directed the Rubble Kings film.
