Stream the title track, plus see forthcoming UK dates from the Chicago songwriter.
Chicago based folk singer-songwriter Ryley Walker has signed to indie giant Dead Oceans ahead of the release of his second album ‘Primrose Green’, which is due on 31st March. ‘Primrose Green’ follows last year’s debut LP ‘All Kinds of You’ and Walker has teased the album by unveiling the title track ‘Primrose Green’.
Riley Walker first made an appearance with a three-track EP in 2013 before releasing his debut album ‘All Kinds of You’ last spring on San Franciscan label Tompkins Square, and with ‘Primrose Green’ Walker is set to reach a wider audience. The title track of ‘Primrose Green’ is a lovely affair, all gorgeously arranged seventies-styled folk music led by Walker’s vocals and intricate guitar lines.
Walker is also set to return to the UK following the release of ‘Primrose Green’ for gigs in London, Manchester and Bristol. Listen to ‘Primrose Green’ plus check out the UK dates below. Pre-order the LP here.
