Sam Fender adds third headline date at Newcastle’s St James’ Park
He’s set to play a run of huge headline dates at outdoor venues around the UK this Summer.

Sam Fender has announced a third and final hometown show at Newcastle’s St James’ Park for June next year, which he’ll play in addition to his previously confirmed two-night stint there, as well as his huge gig in the capital.
The news comes just after he recently confirmed plans for his much-anticipated third album ‘People Watching’ (due out on 21st February 2025).
He’s set to play the 75,000 capacity London Stadium on Friday 6th June - his biggest headline show to date, and his first stadium show outside of Newcastle - before returning to his stomping ground of St James’ Park for three massive nights on Thursday 12th, Saturday 14th, and Sunday 15th June (following his double header there back in 2023).
The North Shields hero will be joined by country-pop star-in-waiting CMAT for all four stadium shows, while The War On Drugs (who Sam worked with in the studio when recording ‘People Watching’) will also act as special guests on 6th, 14th, and 15th June.
All remaining tickets will go on general sale from 9:30am on Friday 29th November here. £1 from every ticket sold will be donated to organisations such as Youth Music and Sunday For Sammy, which work to support the arts in the North East of England.
